We acknowledge that this land lies within the traditional territory of the Anishinaabe, specifically the Three Fires Confederacy of the Ojibway, Odawa, and Potawatomi people, in the Robinson–Superior Treaty area. We recognize the long history and continued presence of First Nations, Métis, and Inuit Peoples in Ontario, and show respect to them, especially our neighbours of Batchewana First Nation, Garden River First Nation, and Michipicoten First Nation.
