Beach grass protection pilot project
In 2025, the Friends continued to support a multi-year project with the park to protect and restore the dune ecosystems within the park. The Friends of LSP funded a Maintenance Ranger contract extension to assist with the installation of post and rope fencing in the Agawa Bay Campground. This fencing will better define campsite boundaries and beach access paths to protect the ecological integrity of these beautiful and fragile ecosystems.
